F1 icon Sir Stirling Moss has sparked uproar with his comments that women have no place in F1 as female drivers aren't mentally up to the task.

You have to have women in F1 to even make the argument that they cannot win! The last time was nearly 39 years ago??? and for only 12 races in a back marker team?

The point someone made about female fighter pilots is spot on. Higher percentage of females in fighter jets, higher mental aptitude required in a fighter than an F1 car for longer periods of time and higher G load. AND they have to deal with an environment in 3 dimensions rather than 2 like a F1 driver.

Statistical speaking, there are not enough female F1 drivers to even make Moss' argument plausible. It's pure speculation on his part.
