A Swiss technical expert believes that the revised design of this year's Pirelli tyres could be at the heart of several teams' 2013 problems.

sauber woes are due to:

1) not expecting the unexpected.
2) the majority of other teams did expect halfass Pirelli rubber .
3) accepting cashheavy no experience second driver
4) lack of team continuity
5) lack of continuous development

Sauber was a B team which had the potential to be an A team. Now they are a B to C team with a second driver who is mired in combat(?) with the D teams.
