joop. but the fact is that the tyres have already had the compounds changed this year.....for the worse. ok, it worked to the benefit of Ferrari. Pirelli are just saying that they are going back to previous compounds, allied to the new construction. there is no certainty that they will benefit or handicap any particular team. but if any team has a turn around (even sauber) there will be usual claims of "fix", and if any team suddenly goes backwards (as merc is currently doing) there will be more cries of "fix".

the simple fact is that the tyres seen in the last few races, where just disgraceful, and with the delaminating, were putting lives at risk, and nobody wants to see such contrived events,( I cannot even call it a race, because it wasn't)
