And what do you think the response of 'all STR and Jr RB drivers' was when Alguersuari and Buemi got unceremoniously dumped?

When Vettel arrived at RBR they weren't exactly top dogs - they got fewer points in 2008 than STR, so a gamble on Vettel was worth a punt. Things have changed now and if they need a new driver they can afford to go for whoever they want and that may well exclude both STR drivers.
