doesn't matter. a tyre was still designed asymmetrical with a known safety concern. then put into the field without any system of enforcement/verification for proper mounting. if there's a clearer case of product liability...? I haven't seen it.

even with instructions communicated, there's still something known as "human factors" (ask the FAA about this). crews can do a full pit-stop, all 4 tyres, (once upon a time fuel), and a wing change in less than 5 secs.

if not clearly marked, it's ENTIRELY plausible a boffin can yank off the wrong warmer in that hustle and a tyre can make it out onto a hot track/live race in an incorrect position still creating a safety hazard. any professional engineer who doesn't see this needs to go do something else. this is not for you.
