F1 » Two DRS zones confirmed for Hungaroring

The FIA has confirmed that there will be two DRS activation zones for this weekend's Grand Prix in Hungary, with one detection point.

That's a nice stat about the race being won there from pole only twice since 2005, but IIRC, before 2005, the race was almost always won from pole with few exceptions since the first one in 1986 I believe.

I have fond memmories of Hungary as a country but the track blows for F1, at least F1 without DRS. Pre-DRS, the races there were usually among the most boring of the year. '06 was a nice exception because of the rain although in hindsight it'd have been cool if Pedro DLR won his only race there instead of getting 2nd. The Button win was ok too though. Anyway, hopefully these DRS zones and the tyres will make it a fun race, 3 weeks have been too long.
