Mark is obviously an extremely proud person with a lot of self belief, as any top flight F1 driver must be, so having to publicly endure the comparisons between himself and arguably the best driver of the current F1 era would have been close to sole destroying for most people. He has shown real strength of character to endure it and retain his pride over the last 3 years.
