Sodesu, Yes at times F1 cars need to be slowed down for safety reasons, but given that the V8 cars were still substantially slower than the V10 cars of more than a decade ago this wasn't one of those times.

Richard, If you read Vettel's comments on his first (albeit brief) experience in the car it really doesn't sound great. "Full throttle is a thing of the past" his words not mine.
