As far as I'm concerned, seeing Vettel drive an uncompetitive car will be as bad as seeing him drive a dominant car.

What I mean is, if he has a bad year everyone will just say it was because of the bad car - just as a lot of people said his dominance was down to a good car.

While I understand people are excited that someone else may have a look in this year because of the Renault problems, I think F1 will be worse off for it.

F1 should be about the best drivers going toe to toe. Having a good driver not in he hunt simply because the car is no good is bad news, just as we saw with Button last year.

Like Button or not, he's one of F1's top drivers and has proved this every single year he has been in a competitive car - seeing one of the best not in the fight because of a bad car sucks - and the same will go for Vettel this year if they don't sort it.
