andrew2k: F1 need to drop all street circuits(including monaco) from the calendar as they are too slow, processional make for extremely dangerous situations and most importantly lack any real overtaking.


I'm OK with Monaco because of it's history and importance in F1.

However, the idea of a London city street GP, when there are more than enough suitable purpose built circuits in the UK, many of which have their own rich history ... THAT is a stupid idea.

Having races in countries that have so little motosport history and relevance that there are no suitable circuits to race at, so scrounging up a street circuit instead ... ANOTHER stupid idea.


Perfectly stated. Sadly, for some reason unbeknownst to us, every racing series out there is absolutely obsessed with staging these ridiculous street parades. The races are financially unsustainable, and not to mention most of them suck entertainment wise. Yet, series organizers j
