F1 farewell for Silverstone

British F1 fans will hope to cheer Jenson Button to another victory this weekend as Silverstone prepares to play host to its final Grand Prix before the event moves to Donington Park.

Button has dominated the season to date, and will be looking for his first win on home soil. Should the Brawn GP man secure victory, it will also ensure that Silverstone departs the F1 arena with back-to-back British victors after Lewis Hamilton took victory last year for McLaren.

The unpredictable British weather ensures that Silverstone often provides one of the more exciting events of the season, with the Northamptonshire venue featuring a number of challenges for the drivers – as can be seen in the video preview below.
