FIA versus FOTA round-up

You could be forgiven for forgetting that Friday was the opening day of the British Grand Prix weekend, with the action on track being overshadowed by the political storm threatening to tear F1 apart.

FOTA teams in F1 breakaway

Alan, Fota have the perfect vehicle to have a series up and running ready for their first race, The now bankrupt A1 GP series is ripe for the picking, Teixeira has already told shareholders unless $200000000 is forthcoming there will be no 5th series, Pete de Silva CEO A1 GP has resigned. The cars are impounded. This series has all the elements to make a new series. Frieght opperation, Hospitality, contracts with circuits, TV, They can even use the A1 GP Ferrari inspired/engined cars as their version of GP2, a perfect turn key opperation.....

@Alan - don't despair. You can still watch the Terrence and Phillip, I mean Bernie and Max Show (without Ferrari). Most of us will gladly watch a series not influenced by the two biggest idiots in F1.
