Britain's Jenson Button remains top in the battle for the 2009 F1 drivers' championship, despite failing to score in Belgium.

Rubens Barrichello however narrows the gap again after limping home in seventh place in the sister Brawn Grand Prix entry - and is now 16 points adrift.

Sebastian Vettel meanwhile moves up third in the rankings, after taking the final spot on the Belgian Grand Prix podium, behind race winner, Kimi Raikkonen and Giancarlo Fisichella.

In the Constructors' championship, Brawn Grand Prix sees its cushion over Red Bull Racing cut back from 27.5 points to 23.5 with five races still to go.

Force India opens its account thanks to Fisichella's fantastic drive to P2.
