Q1 red flagged

Qualifying 1 stopped due to rain.
Qualifying for Sunday's Brazilian Grand Prix at Interlagos has been red-flagged after less than 5 minutes.

The session began with another heavy rain storm hitting the Sao Paulo venue, and with drivers struggling with the conditions, several had minor moments. Giancarlo Fisichella however was unlucky enough to stall in the first corner and the session was then stopped.

It was not clear whether it was stopped due to Fisichella's incident or due to the wet weather.

For the record, only seven drivers' managed to post a time before Q1 was brought to a halt with Sebastian Vettel leading the way on a 1m 39.694s.

Fisichella is next up followed by Jaime Alguersuari, Nico Rosberg, Romain Grosjean, Kazuki Nakajima and Sebastien Buemi.

More to follow later...
