POLL: Who will replace Bridgestone?

Who do you think is likely to replace Bridgestone and be the next tyre supplier in F1?
Bridgestone Motorsport announced Monday that it will leave F1 at the end of the 2010 world championship campaign, becoming the third major manufacturer to walk away from the grid in the space of two years - though it insisted the global credit crunch was not the root cause.

Bridgestone entered F1 back in 1997 as a rival to Goodyear, and has been the sport's sole tyre-supplier since 2007 - a year earlier than scheduled - following Michelin's premature withdrawal in the wake of the Indianapolis débâcle.

Its current contract expires at the end of next year, but only a day after the season-ending Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, the Tokyo-based company revealed that there will be no renewal and that begs the question...

Which manufacturer will now pick up the mantle?

Could it be Goodyear?
Or maybe Pirelli?
Or Michelin?

Let's put fun back into F1. Go back to Dunlop D7s - new for the wet and 1/2 worn for dry races. Then we should see who can drive! Whichever company steps in - give all the same tyre.

andrew wrote 'How can there be a poll on this? No-one has thrown their hat into the ring to supply tires. At least the other polls on here have a factual element.' For goodness sake lighten up and stop taking the grumpy tablets. Sugestion for bernie, why not have a mix of suppliers and no not a tyre war, each car to have three sets available per race from 4 manufacturers, which three dependent on drawing lots after qualifying. Each car to have 3 Jokers they must use in three races of their choice during the season, this is where they mix brands front and rear and score double point in those races. Brands I would nominate. Nankan, Ceat, Kuhmo and Vredestein :) :)
