POLL: Who is the first Lotus F1 driver?

Lotus F1 has signed up its first driver for the 2010 season - but who do you think it is?
Lotus F1 team principal Tony Fernandes has revealed on social networking site Twitter, that the F1 newcomers have signed their first driver for the 2010 F1 season - but hasn't revealed who it is...

That will lead to increased speculation over who the driver could be, with a number of names having been suggested as possibilities after the initial confirmation that the team had secured a slot on the grid for next season.

Jarno Trulli has been hotly tipped to a drive but could be one of three ex-Toyota men in contention with Timo Glock in discussions with a number of teams and Kamui Kobayashi also looking to secure a race seat on the grid after his impressive showing in the final two races of the year.

Jacques Villeneuve is known to be looking for a route back into the sport, while McLaren's Heikki Kovalainen could be another possible option should he leave the Woking-based outfit - a move that looks increasingly likely to happen.

Fairuz Fauzy would provide a Malaysian option for the team, although is expected to be a more likely test driver but there are any number of other drivers who could step in to fill a vacant seat.

So who do you think Fernandes was referring to in his Twitter message ahead of an official announcement?

Some Toyota engineers were hired ahead of this announcement. I think Jarno and his pictures will be the call.
