Mercedes will officially launch its new F1 team today when it unveils its livery for the new season.
The 'launch' will take place at the manufacturers' museum in Stuttgart, although the new 2010 car won't be on show. That won't be unveiled until February 1, when testing kicks off in Spain at Valencia. Instead the livery will be shown on the 2009 title winning BGP 001.
Mercedes have already made big headlines since taking over Brawn GP
and signing record breaking multiple F1 world champion Michael Schumacher to partner ex-Williams man Nico Rosberg.
Nick Heidfeld is expected to be announced as the team's test and reserve driver.
