Four-time F1 title winner Alain Prost has signed up to make his debut in the Race of Champions in November.
Prost becomes the latest big-name to sign up for the event at the ESPRIT Arena in the German city of Dusseldorf, with Michael Schumacher and Sebastian Vettel
having already confirmed their participation.
"I'm very happy to be able to participate in The Race of Champions at last," Prost said. "In the past the date has always clashed with other commitments like the Andros Trophy ice racing championship, but this year it finally works.
"It will be an absolute pleasure to race with great drivers from different disciplines and different generations. I'm really looking forward to the experience."
Following his time as an F1 racer, Prost moved into team ownership with the Prost GP team and most recently has turned his focus to ice racing – winning the Andros Trophy on two occasions.
