Sutil, Alguersuari eye step up

Adrian Sutil and Jaime Alguersuari reflect on the possible chances of moving into the F1 big time in future
Adrian Sutil and Jaime Alguersuari have both revealed that they have their sights set on moving into the big time with one of F1's top teams.

Sutil has long been regarded as a star of the future thanks to his performances for Force India, having been with the team in its various guises since moving into F1 from Japanese F3 in 2007.

While happy with the impressive progress made by Force India in the last twelve months, Sutil admitted that he is keeping an eye on developments further up the grid as he looks to become an F1 front-runner.

"As long as every year there are steps being made, I am very satisfied," he was quoted by the German 'paper TZ. "[However] we have to see how long Michael Schumacher wants to go on. And also what happens at Red Bull…"

Red Bull would also be the preferred option for young Spaniard Alguersuari, who has been arguably one of the most improved drivers this season with Toro Rosso.

Admitting in an interview with Dario AS that he almost lost his seat with Toro Rosso due to 'economic and contractual problems' between the team and Red Bull, the teenager insisted that he dreamed of fighting for the title with Red Bull in future.

"Red Bull has a winning car and I must fight to have one as well," he said. "I am learning, and if some day I can take the wheel of a Red Bull or win a World Championship with them, it would be fantastic."
