Vettel reveals 'Randy Mandy'

Sebastian Vettel will replace 'Luscious Liz' with 'Randy Mandy' as he looks to revive his fortunes in the 2010 F1 campaign.

Sebastian Vettel has revealed the identity of the girl he hopes will take him all the way to the 2010 Formula One world title, having ditched 'Luscious Liz' for 'Randy Mandy'.

Despite having taken four pole positions in six races, the German struggled to go all the way with 'Liz', winning just once - in Malaysia in a race where he failed to take top spot in qualifying - and has since been told that his original girl has an unspecified problem that has affected her performance in recent races.

"Apart from that, we found some other parts that were broken, so I wasn't happy - in the last two races in particular, Vettel noted on the eve of the Turkish Grand Prix, where he will begin his new relationship, "It's difficult to say [how much difference the unspecified problem made, but] I think it explains a lot."

Having raced with 'Kate' and, after she failed to fire, 'Kate's Dirty Sister' in 2009, all eyes have been on the German's choice of replacement for 'Liz', and the 22-year old did not disappoint as he revealed his new partner's identity on the steps of the Red Bull Racing motorhome.

"It will be 'Randy Mandy'," Vettel, who retains a share of the world championship lead despite his woes, confirmed to the expectant media, "However, it doesn't mean that we come here and everything is solved, we still have to work hard and try our best to be at the front again."

The German has only retired once in six races, and not finished lower than six in the other races, but, despite taking third and second places in the last two races in Spain and Monaco, has been pegged back in the standings by RBR team-mate Mark Webber, who now holds the overall advantage by virtue of his two recent wins. Beyond his immediate rival, however, Vettel insists that no-one should take anything for granted in the battle for the championship.

"If you look at the gaps, it's not that we are massively clear [of the rest of the field]," he claimed, "There are only three points to Fernando [Alonso] in the drivers' [standings], so you never know what happens. In terms of performance, we are looking strong, and we should be in good shape for this weekend, but I am not really a big fan of using words like 'unbeatable'. Things change too quickly in F1."
