Hamilton wins in Turkey, Red Bulls clash

Lewis Hamilton wins the Turkish Grand Prix at Istanbul Park, after Red Bull's Mark Webber and Sebastian Vettel clash and throw away a 1-2 finish

McLaren's Lewis Hamilton won the Turkish Grand Prix today at Istanbul Park, the seventh round on the F1 2010 schedule.

Hamilton inherited in the final third of the race when Red Bull's Mark Webber and Sebastian Vettel came together.

Jenson Button also benefited from the Webber-Vettel clash to move up to second and he briefly passed Hamilton on lap 48, before he was re-passed and dropped back down to P2.

Webber took the final spot on the podium - although Vettel wasn't so fortune and was forced to retire after his botched pass on the sister car.

Michael Schumacher and Nico Rosberg completed the top five for Mercedes, followed by Robert Kubica's Renault and the Ferrari's of Fernando Alonso and Felipe Massa. Adrian Sutil and Kamui Kobayashi took the final points places in ninth and tenth.
