F1 2010 championship standings post-British Grand Prix at Silverstone.
Britain's Lewis Hamilton remains in the lead in the battle for the F1 2010 drivers' championship following his runners-up spot finish at the British Grand Prix today.

Hamilton now has 145 points, extending his advantage over his McLaren team-mate, Jenson Button, who is his nearest rival, from six points post-Valencia to twelve ahead of the trip to Hockenheim.

Mark Webber moves up to third in the standings, after his third win of the year, ahead of his team-mate, Sebastian Vettel, who recovered to take P7 after picking up a puncture at the start. Fernando Alonso stays fifth in the standings despite not scoring.

In the Constructors' championship, McLaren remains comfortably ahead of Red Bull, although the Milton Keynes-based outfit does cut the gap slightly from 30 points to 29.

It is all about Webber today but both Barichello and Kobayashi had a great day :) Kubica is driving on 110%, he deserves to start winning but this is not going to happen any time soon. I only hope he has unlimited patience, he will need it.
