Red Bull duo confident heading to Spa

Mark Webber and Sebastian Vettel head for Spa in confident mood
Red Bull pair Mark Webber and Sebastian Vettel are confident of being on the pace as the F1 resumes this weekend in Belgium.

Webber moved into the championship lead with victory in Hungary while Red Bull has also moved ahead of McLaren in the race for the constructors' championship.

While Spa as a circuit may favour other cars more than the Red Bulls, Webber said he was confident of a strong weekend although he concedes that it will be difficult to match the performance displayed by the team in Hungary.

“I don't think there is a driver on the grid that doesn't look forward to Spa, it's an incredible circuit to drive on,” he said. “I expect we can do well there, whether it's as well as I did in Budapest is a question for everyone, but I know our team is ready.”

Vettel admitted that the RB6 might lose out somewhat on the long straights found in the Ardennes but agreed with Webber than Red Bull can be optimistic as racing resumes.

“I love Spa, it has some of the best corner sections in Formula One,” he said, “they're long, fast-flowing and suit our car. We were very competitive in the race there last year, but we lost out in qualifying a bit.

“Our weakness will be the long straights and, with uphill sections too, we know it won't be easy for us, but I am optimistic for the race.”

the rb6 is the most aero efficient car on the grid, the middle sector takes up the bulk of the lap, is downhill and is a fast turn fest, the red bulls will leave everyone in shock, only the superior(?) racing skills of hamilton or alonso can upset them :) massa and schumacher the only spa f1 winners on the grid . . . roll on friday
