Mansell rejoins stewards

Nigel Mansell back on the stewards panel at Spa
Nigel Mansell is to rejoin the panel of FIA stewards for this weekend's Belgian Grand Prix at Spa.

The 1992 F1 title winner took on the role of drivers representative for the British Grand Prix earlier in the year and will now rejoin the panel for a second appearance this weekend.

Mansell will work alongside FIA officials Lars Osterlind, Garry Connelly and Yves Bacquelaine.

The FIA took the decision at the start of the year to have a former racer on the panel of stewards to aid the decision making process following a number of controversial incidents last year, with the input of someone with racing experience being seen as a way to ensure the correct decision is made when discussing incidents on track.
