Hispania Racing team boss Colin Kolles says he is looking for the Spanish team to bounce back from a tough race in Singapore this weekend at Suzuka.

The newcomers failed to see the flag under the Singapore lights, with Christian Klien forced out by mechanical issues and Bruno Senna then crashing out when he was unable to avoid the stricken car of Sauber's Kamui Kobayashi.

With the double DNF marking a disappointing start to the final fly-away events of the season, Kolles said he was hoping that the team could bounce back with a double finish on its first outing on Japanese soil.

"The Suzuka circuit is one of the best circuits ever for me," he said. "It is very challenging for the drivers and it offers almost every type of corners. There are many exciting and high-speed ones, especially the 130R. If the drivers make a mistake in one of the first seven corners, they pay for it even longer and cannot set their best lap time.

"To find a good rhythm in the car is of prime importance as well as a good car performance. After our unfortunate race in Singapore, we look ahead and want to bring both cars to the finish line again."

Klien is set to be replaced by Sakon Yamamoto for his home round, although interestingly the preview issued by the team continues no mention of drivers - which will fuel speculation that the Hispania merry-go-round may be in action again this weekend.
