30 greatest F1 duels of all time (Part III)

In the third and final part of the series, here we bring you exciting and entertaining archive footage of some of the greatest wheel-to-wheel duels ever to be fought out in the world of F1, from 1993 right up to the present day
F1 is a procession, the critics say, with no heroes or gladiators anymore and all the overtaking done in the pits – but it has not always been thus, as the third and final instalment of this feature highlighting the 30 greatest wheel-to-wheel, no-holds barred duels in the sport's long history goes to show.

Today we bring you video footage of some of the most thrilling battles witnessed on grand prix tracks right around the world from 1993 up to the present day, and fought by legends such as Ayrton Senna, Alain Prost, Nigel Mansell, Michael Schumacher, Mika Hakkinen, Fernando Alonso, Jacques Villeneuve, Damon Hill and many more.

Beginning with a three-way tussle between multiple world champions Senna and Prost – and the man who would go on to surpass both of their achievements in the top flight, Schumacher – at Kyalami in 1993, here we trace some of F1's finest spectacles through Senna's spellbinding opening lap in the teeming rain at Donington Park later that same year, old hands Mansell and Jean Alesi going at it like go-karters in similar conditions at Suzuka the following season, the energetic, wheel-banging scrap between 'Schumi' and young upstart Alex Wurz around the narrow streets of Monaco in 1998 and Hakkinen's incredibly audacious overtaking move on the German in Belgium in 2000.

All that really remains to be said is, enjoy!

I guess that someone has forgotten the duel between Kimi Raikkonen(McLaren-Mercedes)and Rubens Barrichello(Ferrari) in 2003 at Silverstone. Or the duel between Felipe Massa(Ferrari) and Fernando Alonso (McLaren-Mercedes) in 2007 at Nurburgring. These duels were amazing.
