Following its debut event at last month's Italian Grand Prix in Milan, F1 Rocks - The Afterparty will take the festivities to São Paulo on Sunday 7 November to celebrate
the Brazilian Grand Prix.
F1 Rocks™ with LG in São Paulo opens the entertainment with US rapper Eminem, who will take to the stage in front of 45,000 people on the Friday of the penultimate grand prix weekend in what will be his first ever performance in Latin America. Following Saturday and Sunday's on track action, F1 Rocks - The Afterparty will round things off at the spectacular Terraça Daslu in the heart of São Paulo.
Spinning the discs on the night will be world famous Jack.E, the larger than life Brazilian resident DJ at St Tropez hotspot Les Caves du Roy and the man responsible for each summer's Les Caves CD release. The popular jetsetter has played in the most decadent and exclusive clubs across the globe, including bringing his European style to New York's Pink Elephant, Kiss & Fly, Bagatelle and 1Oak clubs. As if that was not enough, there will also be a set by DJ Lora, who played at F1 Rocks - The Afterparty in Milan and is a favourite with the likes of Sir Paul McCartney and Mickey Rourke.
“We staged F1 Rocks in Milan last month, with the Stereophonics in concert and The Afterparty on Saturday and Sunday evenings, and the weekend went brilliantly, so now I'm thrilled to be going to Brazil," Robert Montague, chairman of Enterprise Entertainment, the organiser of F1 Rocks, said, "This is a huge gig with a performance by one of the biggest music stars in the world and we'll be following it up with one of the best parties F1 has ever put on following the race on Sunday. It's sure to be an unforgettable Brazilian Grand Prix weekend.”
