Vote for best F1 driver of 2010!

We've had our say on the stars of F1 2010 – now it's your turn to have yours'. We want to know who you rate as the heroes of the season on the grand prix. To cast your votes, read on...
So we've revealed to you our top ten stars of the F1 2010 World Championship campaign – but do you agree with our ranking? Here's your chance to have your say...

After much deliberation at the end of one of the most thrilling and unpredictable seasons in years – one sure to go down in history as a classic for the constant twists-and-turns in what was an enthralling title chase – we finally concluded that Sebastian Vettel's outstanding raw pace and mature composure under pressure in the fraught Abu Dhabi finale were enough to make the young German a worthy F1 World Champion, but perhaps you beg to differ..?

Do you think Ferrari star Fernando Alonso would have been a more deserving recipient of the crown, given the Spaniard's superb late-season challenge and the manner in which he truly galvanised the Scuderia over the summer months to come out fighting in the closing stages. .?

How about Vettel's Red Bull Racing team-mate Mark Webber, who led the way for the majority of proceedings and – when he was really on it – nobody could live with? Or maybe one of McLaren-Mercedes' two former title-winners – Lewis Hamilton and Jenson Button – caught your eye, with the former taking the duel for glory right down to the wire in the UAE, and the latter coping admirably and even shining in a situation that many had predicted could destroy him..?

Then there was Robert Kubica, who performed minor miracles for Renault, and Nico Rosberg who likewise punched considerably above his weight early on for Mercedes Grand Prix, with a trio of podium finishes as he left his record-breaking team-mate and compatriot Michael Schumacher fairly trailing in his wake...

Whatever your views, make sure to share them right here, both by clicking on the link below and also in our comments forum.

Simply rate each of the 27 drivers with a score from one (poor) to ten (excellent) dependent upon how impressed you were with their performance this year – and before Christmas, we will publish a list of your top ten.

Whither: "Vettel will I think do surprisingly poorly" Whether he does or not doesn't really matter as this is the most pointless poll of the year. A few people will answer the poll honestly and say something like, say, 1) Alonso, 2) Hamilton, 3) Vettel,... and so on, but I think most people on here will vote for their favourite driver as number 1, no matter how good or bad he was this year, and for his arch rival as number 28, no matter how brilliant he was. So you'll get one person putting Alonso at 1 and Hamilton at 28, and someone else putting Alonso at 28 and Hamilton at 1.
