Lewis Hamilton scoops three awards as the results of the Hilton F1 survey is published, including 'Coolest Driver' and 'Overtaker of the Year'.
Lewis Hamilton has been voted the 'Coolest Driver' in Formula 1 after results of a fan-based survey, in which some of the less-frequently asked questions are posed, were revealed.

Hilton Racing, which provides hospitality at the Formula 1 events, presented a series of questions to fans to establish who they thought was the 'Coolest driver', 'Rookie of the Year', 'Overtaker of the Year', as well as what was the 'Best New Team' and 'Best Race'.

There were also chances to name the driver fans would 'most like to have a drink with', 'WAG of the year' and where fans would 'most like to see a new race'.

Hamilton proved the most popular of the 24-strong grid of drivers, scooping the 'coolest' award, as well as the 'Best Dressed' and the 'Best Overtaker'. His girlfriend, singer Nicole Scherzinger, was also named 'WAG of the Year'.

Hamilton's McLaren-Mercedes team-mate Jenson Button was the driver most people would like to have a drink with, ahead of Hamilton and Michael Schumacher.

Elsewhere, Nico Hulkenberg was named 'Rookie of the Year', while Lotus Racing won the award for the best new team, out-scoring BMW Sauber, Virgin Racing and HRT.
