We said, you said: Formula 1 2010

Comparing our top ten vote with your own vote to decide the top ten drivers of the F1 2010 season.

Having revealed the results of your vote to decide the top driver from F1 2010, we thought it was only right to see how it compared to our own countdown of the top ten drivers' from the past season.

And interestingly, while both top ten lists include nine of the same drivers there's quite a bit of variation in terms of who goes where.

Indeed while we put Sebastian Vettel top, you all rated Mark Webber, who we only gave fourth spot.

Robert Kubica was another 'mover', up from fifth in our list to third in yours, while Kamui Kobayashi – who wasn't placed in our top ten – took seventh. Heikki Kovalainen incidentally, who we gave P9, didn't make your top ten - and was only rated 15th.

The full comparison is shown below...

Crash.net said Sebastian Vettel

Webber had a great year, and I'm a fan, but he was out performed when it mattered. I'd put Alonso and Kubica ahead of him. 3 crashes is irrelevant. It's where you finish that matters. If he'd crashed six times, but won the rest, he'd be a WDC, and that's a good year in anyone's books. He's a great driver, had a great year, but just couldn't put it all together in the end. Kubica's consistency in a second rate car shows his talent, and Alonso's second half effort shows his brilliance. If not for a bad pit choice, he'd have been WDC. Webber is probably the most popular, everyone loves seeing him do well as he's had it so hard for so long, but he was out driven in the end.
