Silverstone announces price freeze

Silverstone to keep ticket prices at same levels despite increase in VAT
Silverstone has announced that it is to freeze ticket prices for 2011 events despite the increase in VAT which came into play earlier this month.

Government legislation saw VAT rise to 20 per cent but Silverstone will keep its prices at a VAT rate of 17.5 per cent for event tickets as well as for driving and riding experiences.

As a result, tickets for the British Grand Prix remain available at prices starting from £55, while tickets for the AirAsia British MotoGP event can be purchased from as little as £16.

As well as the freeze in VAT, Silverstone is offering a 20 per cent saving on four of its leading Driving Experiences as part of its January sale.
