Marussia Virgin Racing has announced that it will present its F1 2011 contender to the world early next month.
The unveiling of the MV02 will take place between the first two tests of the year in Valencia (February 1-3) and Jerez (February 10-13), with the wraps coming off the car at an undisclosed location in London on Monday February 7. Timo Glock and F1 2011 rookie Jérôme d'Ambrosio are expected to be in attendance, along with other key team personnel.
Virgin is the eighth team to reveal when it will launch its new car, following on from the likes of Ferrari, McLaren and Red Bull. Fellow former newcomers, Hispania Racing and Tony Fernandes' Team Lotus meanwhile have yet to set a date. Williams have also still to confirm an official launch, although its new car will make it public debut on the opening day of testing at Valencia in Spain on February 1.
