Team boss Christian Horner has revealed that Mark Webber is set to remain with Red Bull Racing for at least one more season.

Webber is currently on a year-by-year contract after driver and team agreed it was the best move going forwards for one of the older drivers on the grid, with the Australian insisting he would only continue while he was still enjoying being behind the wheel.

Having been one of the championship contenders last season, Webber has endured a more challenging start to 2011 and is already 64 points behind team-mate Sebastian Vettel with just six races run.

Despite that tough start to the campaign, Webber is now reported to have told the team he is keen to continue for another season with Red Bull happy to keep the Australian for another year.

"Mark has made it clear he wants to continue with Red Bull next year," Horner told the BBC. "One of the questions we had was does he still have the motivation and desire.

"We believe he does and we're happy to continue."
