Britain's Jenson Button moves up to second in the F1 2011 drivers' championship standings, following his fantastic win in Canada.

Sebastian Vettel however, despite slipping to second on the final lap at the Circuit Gilles Villeneuve, still extends his lead in his bid to retain his drivers' crown. He now has 161 points, 60 more than Button.

Mark Webber meanwhile stays third in the rankings, with 94 points on the board, 9 more than Lewis Hamilton, who drops to fourth after retiring. Fernando Alonso stays fifth.

In the Constructors' championship, Red Bull Racing increases its tally to 255 points after its 2-3 result - and goes from being 61 points up on McLaren to 69. Ferrari lies third with 101 points accumulated.
