Silverstone has announced that race day tickets for the 2011 British Grand Prix have all but sold out, with all but one grandstand already filled for the first race using the new pit and paddock complex.

General admission tickets for race day sold out yesterday (Monday), meaning the remaining few tickets for the Vale Grandstand are the only ones left for fans hoping to catch the racing action from trackside.

Individual and family tickets are still available for both Friday practice and Saturday, with the latter featuring F1 qualifying as well as the first GP2 and GP3 races of the weekend.
