Ferrari has confirmed that both Sergio Perez and Jules Bianchi will get the chance to test a 2009 Ferrari F1 machine before the end of the season.

The pair are both members of the Ferrari driving academy and will get the chance to sample the F60 that was raced by Kimi Raikkonen and Felipe Massa - carrying the former to victory in the Belgian Grand Prix at Spa.

The test is due to take place in September at a circuit still to be decided on, and will be used by Ferrari to assess both Perez - who is currently competing in F1 with the Sauber team - and GP2 front-runner Bianchi, who also holds the role of Ferrari test driver.

"We will be back on track in September, at Mugello or Fiorano," Ferrari Driver Academy director Luca Baldisserri said. "It will be a very interesting test, because we will be putting Jules Bianchi and Sergio Perez up against one another.

"I think they will both be very motivated and for us it will be the perfect opportunity to assess both drivers."
