Latest F1 championship standings

F1 2011 championship standings post-Hungarian Grand Prix.

Sebastian Vettel extends his lead in the battle for the F1 2011 drivers' title following his second place finish today in Hungary.

Vettel now has 234 points - 85 more than his team-mate, Mark Webber and 7 more than before this weekend's race. Lewis Hamilton remains third, with 146 points, while Fernando Alonso is fourth (on 145) and Jenson Button fifth (with 134).

In the Constructors' championship, Red Bull Racing increases its tally to 383 – but McLaren closes the gap, albeit only down from 112 points to 103. Ferrari lies third with 215 points accumulated.

So JB after 2 DNF's (no fault of his of course) is only 12 points behind the "greatest driver in the World" about 5 points in old money. That seems ever so strange given how epic Lulu is, don't we think? And isn't the "poor man's Nigel Mansel" doing well at the front?

taipan don't you you ever have anything positive to say? All you ever do is slag people off(mostly Hamilton). Your constant trolling is getting very tedious.
