Esteban Gutierrez will get a chance to drive for the Sauber F1 Team this weekend, it has been confirmed.
The 20-year-old, who is currently competing in the GP2 Series, F1's chief feeder category, will carry out a straight line test tomorrow [Saturday] at Vairano, near Milan. The programme at the track will focus on aerodynamic measurements of the Sauber C30-Ferrari.
“I'm very grateful to be able to do this kind of test for the team,” said the young Mexican, who is the team's official test and reserve driver.
“Although it is not a regular test with many laps and normal set-up work it will give me some new experience of further work with the team and I will be able to learn a bit more for my future.”
