Latest F1 2011 standings - post-Italy

Sebastian Vettel extends his lead in the battle for the F1 2011 drivers' title following his victory in Italy today and he could now clinch the title in Singapore in two weeks time.

Vettel now has 284 points on the board – 112 more than Fernando Alonso, who moves up to second in the standings.

Jenson Button is joint third with Mark Webber, both with 167 points, while Lewis Hamilton is fifth with 158.

In the Constructors' championship, Red Bull Racing increases its tally to 451 points, 126 more than McLaren. Ferrari lies third with 254 points accumulated.

I wish Crash would actually post the points rather than have us have to do the math to work out the gap between Button-Webber and Alonso. By the way, it's 5 points (Alonso 172 to Button-Webber 167).
