Who was on song in Singapore?

Who do you think put in the best performance in Singapore?

Singapore's night race again sparkled and while Sebastian Vettel took a dominant win, there was lots of drama throughout the 61 laps.

Indeed Lewis Hamilton was again embroidered in controversy after his botched move on Felipe Massa, with the Brazilian launching a scathing attack post-race and accusing him of being 'unable to use his mind' [see separate story - click here]. That wasn't the only incident though and Michael Schumacher crashed out on lap 28 after making contact with Sergio Perez. The resulting safety car period closed up the pack and allowed Mark Webber to pull off another sensational move on Fernando Alonso at the re-start.

Below we have chosen a few drivers who we think stood out during the fourteenth round in the championship.

But let us know who you think was the star of the day - simply click on the 'Post your comments' link below...

Sebastian Vettel:
He may not quite have clinched the crown - not yet, anyway - but Red Bull Racing's Sebastian Vettel put the F1 2011 drivers' laurels all-but beyond reach of any of his adversaries with a peerless triumph under the spotlights in Singapore. He now needs just one more point to successfully take back-to-back titles [see separate story - click here].

Jenson Button:
Another great drive from the McLaren man, who was the only one to get anywhere near eventual winner, Sebastian Vettel. Second in the race also moves Button up to P2 in the drivers' championship [see separate story - click here].

Mark Webber:
Eighth podium of the year for the Aussie and while a poor start meant he had to work for it, his overtakes – particularly on Alonso on the re-start after the safety car period - meant it was definitely well deserved.

Fernando Alonso:
Having said post-race that the Ferrari is now 'third best in terms of performance', Alonso maximised his chances and put in another good drive to claim fourth.

Paul di Resta:
Strong performance from di Resta in what is his rookie year and sixth place was a just reward for all his efforts. His best F1 result to date.

Heikki Kovalainen:
Team Lotus man Kovalainen was again the top 'new' team runner and the fact he splits the Renaults of Bruno Senna and Vitaly Petrov was certainly a victory of sorts for the Finn.
