Hamilton Sr clarifies management comments

Anthony Hamilton clarifies his comments about Lewis Hamilton's management team
Anthony Hamilton has clarified remarks about son Lewis' management team after he hinted that they needed to do more to support the McLaren driver.

Hamilton's comments [See separate story HERE] came after Lewis' controversial outing in Singapore, where he clashed on track twice with Felipe Massa over the course of the weekend.

Hamilton Sr had suggested that his son's new management team – headed by Simon Fuller – needed to provide more support having not been present over the course of the weekend in Singapore.

However, Hamilton Sr has now moved to clarify his comments by insisting that he was only making an observation about the situation and that, as long as Lewis was happy, he would feel the same.

"I remain very passionate about Lewis's racing,” he told the Independent. "I spoke with Lewis during the week after the race.

“He told me that he's happy with the job that his management and Simon Fuller are doing – and as long as Lewis is happy, then I'm happy."
