Tonio Liuzzi says he has no plans to move away from HRT for the 2012 F1 season despite the fact the team hasn't confirmed he wil remain for a second year.

Liuzzi joined the Spanish team at the start of 2011 after leaving Force India but hasn't been mentioned by the team as part of its line-up for 2012 after being taken over by Thesan Capital.

Pedro de la Rosa is so far the only driver to have been named by the team for the new season.

Despite that, Liuzzi insists he plans to drive for the team again next year having signed a 'long-term' contract when he joined HRT earlier this season.

"In early 2011 we agreed on a long-term contract with HRT," he told Australian Motorsport News. "It would have made no sense to sign with a team at this level on just a one-year contract; you have to make it a project for the future and that is why I want to stay in 2012."
