Ferrari reveals 2012 launch date

Ferrari to launch new car in time for first F1 winter test
Ferrari has become the latest team to confirm a launch date for its 2012 F1 car.

The Maranello-based team will reveal the replacement for the 150° Italia on 3 February ahead of the first pre-season test of the season at Jerez.

The announcement means that Ferrari join McLaren and Sauber in confirming that they will have a new car ready for the first test of 2012.

Rivals Mercedes have already revealed plans to put off the debut of its 2012 car until the second test of the winter in Barcelona.

McLaren 1 February TBC
Ferrari 3 February TBC
Sauber 6 February Jerez

On a side note. Merc has announced that they will NOT be attending the first test at Jerez. Teams complaining about not enough testing and first chance they get they pass. Hmmm doesn't make sense.
