Barcelona to host first Fans Forum of 2012

FOTA's first Fans Forum of 2012 will take place later this month, it was confirmed recently.

The event will be held at the RACC Headquarters in Barcelona on Wednesday, February 29, the day before the final pre-season test gets underway at Spain's Circuit de Catalunya, from March 1-4.

A number of key people will be in attendance including Williams driver Pastor Maldonado and HRT driver Pedro de la Rosa, as well as Eric Boullier, vice chairman of FOTA and team principal of the Lotus F1 Team, Norbert Haug, Mercedes-Benz Motorsport president and Jonathan Neale, managing director of McLaren Racing.

Representatives from Caterham F1 and Scuderia Ferrari will also attend, even though the latter is no longer part of the Formula One Teams Association, having quit the body at the end of last year. HRT is also not part of FOTA.

Access to the Barcelona Fans' Forum is FREE but places are limited. Those wishing to attend should register at: info@fota.co.
