The Arden International team has announced that it will link up with the Caterham Group for a Renault
World Series programme during the 2012 season.
The team will be entered into FRenault 3.5 under the Arden Caterham Motorsport banner, with the team running alongside Arden's programmes in GP2 and GP3.
Caterham also has its own GP2 team alongside the Caterham F1 outfit.
"This partnership is a fantastic opportunity for both parties,” Arden sporting director Julian Rouse said. “We will have the opportunity to work with the talented drivers that Caterham are developing under their young driver scheme and Caterham have the chance to utilise the structure and resources that already exist within the Arden group. I am very excited about the prospect of working with Caterham in 2012 and beyond."
Alex Yoong, head of Caterham's driver development programme, also welcomed the new tie-up.
“We are delighted to formally confirm our partnership with Arden,” he said. “This is an exciting partnership that we are sure will produce many exciting results for everyone involved and marks the next step in the growth of Caterham Group in global motorsport.”
