Massa: We are improving
Felipe Massa says that Ferrari has made improvements with the new F2012 between the first two tests of the year.

So far the Scuderia has been unable to match the likes of Red Bull and McLaren, and has spent more time working on development than on race simulation, while simulation and set-up work has been the order of the day for others at Catalunya this week.

Team-mate Fernando Alonso had said that the 'complex' nature of the new car has left Ferrari to continue learning about the new car [See separate story HERE] but, speaking after his run in the car on Thursday, Massa said he felt there was progress being made.

"The car is definitely better compared to
Jerez and we are beginning to define how we must move forward to continue to improve," he was quoted by ESPN. "I ran all the time on the hardest tyres and I am reasonably pleased with the work we did. Tomorrow, I will try the other compounds and we will work on fine tuning the car.

"It will be important to do a lot of kilometres over these final five days to be as well prepared as possible for the first race of the season."
