Don't miss Malaysian action on Sky Sports F1 HD

Don't miss a moment of the action from Sepang with Sky Sports F1 HD

Sky Sports F1 HD's live Formula 1 coverage got off to an action packed start Down Under - and the good news is you only have to wait a few days for the next instalment as the grid heads to Kuala Lumpur for this weekend's Malaysian GP.

As with Australia, Sky Sports' new dedicated F1 channel is the place for UK viewers to watch live and exclusive coverage of Malaysian GP Practice, Qualifying and the Race itself from the Sepang International Circuit.

And once more, it's something of an early start on Friday with the Sky Sports team going live with coverage of Practice One from 1.45am, before returning for the day's second 90-minute Practice session from 5.45am.

The second edition of The F1 Show, presented by Georgie Thompson and Ted Kravitz, then brings you all the latest news and analysis from the opening day at Sepang live from the track at 10am.

The good news is that the timings of the live sessions begin to become rather more sociable from Saturday, with coverage of Practice Three kicking off at 4.45am and Qualifying from a practically leisurely 7am.

Then it's the big one on Sunday as Simon Lazenby, Martin Brundle and the rest of the Sky Sports team go on air with comprehensive coverage of race day from 7.30am, starting with 90 minutes of build-up before live and uninterrupted coverage of the 56 laps of the Grand Prix.

Don't miss it!

I watched BOTH SKY and BBC's coverage. Aside from Brundle, Sky coverage was weak. Damon is a good guy but doesnt add much, Ant is okay, the rest are just poor. The dedicated channel, outside of qualy and the race, is just simply repeats of FP 1/2 and repeats of 'F1 all time greats'. The only reason why you'd pay for SKY is for the live coverage, the dedicated channel and added shows are not worth it. The BBC coverage has style, quality, and more than anything, it has real character. The people clearly care about the sport, and its fun. Sky is dead beat in my opinion.
