Caterham has become the latest team to commit to taking part in the Bavaria City Racing Dublin event in the Irish capital on 3 June.
Caterham will join fellow F1 outfit McLaren, the Aprilia World Superboke team and the Redstone Racing British Touring Car outfit on the list of those taking part in the free event.
Like the rest of the cars and bike present, the Caterham F1 car will be in action around the streets of Dublin on a special circuit being created for the event.
“We are absolutely delighted to be taking part in the Bavaria City Racing event in Dublin in June,” Caterham Group CEO Riad Asmat said. “It is going to be a fantastic event and you don't have to be an F1 fan to be excited about seeing our car, and all the other teams taking part.
“The noise alone around the streets of Dublin will be incredible and we can't wait to get over to Dublin and show our friends in Ireland what F1 is all about.”
Gavin Collins, Event Director of Bavaria City Racing Dublin, said he was delighted to have a second F1 team onboard.
“We are delighted to announce that the Caterham F1 Team will be performing at Bavaria City Racing Dublin this coming June,” he said. “Caterham F1 Team are one of the most exciting new teams to compete in the F1 Championship and are the second Formula 1 team confirmed to be taking part in Bavaria City Racing Dublin.”
