No Hamilton test at Mugello

Lewis Hamilton won't test for McLaren at Mugello next week
McLaren has confirmed that it won't change its testing plan for the three-day session at Mugello next week despite suggestions from Lewis Hamilton that he might want to return to action himself.

Hamilton had said he 'needed to get back in the car' after his tough weekend in Bahrain [See separate story HERE], leading to talk that the team could amend its planned schedule to allow him time on track.

However, McLaren has now confirmed that it will stick to its original plan, which will see Oliver Turvey and Gary Paffett share the car on Tuesday before Paffett then takes to the track on Wednesday.

GP2 racer Turvey will then complete the test session when he conducts the final day of running on Thursday.

Hamilton wants to test but Button doesn't so Mclaren decides both won't test. I wonder what Mclaren is thinking Ferrari Red Bull and others are taking their best drivers to the track while Mclaren and listening to Button and ignoring Hamilton. I'm starting to lose confidence on Mclaren.
