Vergne to start at Mugello for STR

Toro Rosso confirms Mugello test plan

Jean-Eric Vergne will kick-off testing for Scuderia Toro Rosso next week at Mugello, it has been announced.

According to GPUpdate.net, Vergne will run all day on Tuesday, May 1. He will then get behind the wheel again on Wednesday, May 2, before team-mate, Daniel Ricciardo takes over after lunch. Ricciardo will then complete the three-day test on Thursday, May 3.

Under the plan both drivers will thus get a day and a half of running, in the countdown to the start of the European season and the 2012 F1 Spanish GP the following week.
